Few words, a lot of running and above all: Discipline.
In 2026 Silence. Run. officially became a registered business trademark. A natural step to give structure and protection to a vision built over the years through road, sacrifice and method.
It is not just a phrase: it is an identity. A project born from direct experience, grown through discipline and based on what truly works.
My name is Dario Cucchiara, born in 1987. I live in Partinico, originally from Montelepre. My love for running began in 2016. It was not luck: it was a path built day after day, listening to the heart, the steps and the truest part of myself.
Trained by Professor Tommaso Ticali, I achieved major progress: from 1h45' in the half marathon to 1h13’ at the Lisbon Half Marathon 2025, finishing as first Italian and among the top 40 overall out of more than 20,000 participants, wearing the Atletica Bagheria jersey. My favorite distance is the Half Marathon: that is where discipline is truly measured.
In the 10 km, I went from 50 minutes to 34 minutes. I have also competed in several cross-country races, always placing among the top Master athletes. In 2024, I became Regional Master SM35 Champion both in the 10 km road race and in the Half Marathon.
In 2021, I experienced one of the greatest emotions: the European Masters Championships in Pescara. I competed in both the 10 km and the Half Marathon, finishing both races in the top 5 of my category, only a few days apart. Wearing the Italian National Master Team jersey was an honor. I am a Master, yes. But still chasing glory.
In life I am an Engineer with a technical firm, a Mathematics and Physics Teacher, and a Technical Manager for an installation company. I have a beautiful family and a 4-year-old daughter: Aurora. I train every day, often in the evening after work or after dinner. Running taught me how to combine commitments, become more productive and improve not only in performance, but in life.
I train on the roads of Partinico and surrounding areas, with varied routes and the advantage of a town lit at night. Over the years I also built a private gym from scratch for strength training. I have coached many amateur runners: seeing people improve their lifestyle, approach to sport and race times is one of the most authentic satisfactions.
I do not coach just to “write a plan”. I coach to build discipline, awareness and sustainable results.
My preparation always starts from a clear base: goals, real level, available time, athletic history and the limits of everyday life. A plan should not be perfect on paper: it must be possible, continuous, and credible.
The heart is at the center of the work. Training sessions are structured using heart-rate ranges: not to “run slowly”, but to train all zones, improve efficiency and, above all, recovery. Most runners do not do this: they always run in the middle. I want athletes who learn to truly listen to themselves.
The typical structure, which I then adapt to each athlete, includes: aerobic base running, 1–2 specific workouts per week such as intervals, drills, variations and hills, and usually a long run during the weekend. When necessary, I include targeted blocks and longer cycles. Everything depends on the goal and on the season phase.
What makes the difference is continuous feedback. Every evening I receive from athletes the key data screenshots: pace, heart rate and sensations. This allows me to adjust the path immediately. Corrections are always close at hand.
I also include strength training in specific periods of the year, because a strong runner is a stable runner. I give common-sense nutritional guidance, while always leading toward balance, consistency and sustainability.
I am a FIDAL Certified Instructor, but beyond the title, what matters is my experience: a life in sport and a real journey made of mistakes, corrections and results achieved through discipline.
Silence. Run. means this to me: less noise, more listening. You, your heart, your goals. Everyone with their own timing. But with the same rule: run.
I offer personalized training for track races, 5 km, 10 km, Half Marathon, Marathon and Trail. The online running coaching service is active internationally and is based on discipline, continuous feedback and structured programming.
Silence. Run. is not simply a book about running. It is an invitation to listen, choose and become.

For years I have followed the European SuperHalfs circuit, taking part in several high-level international and national races. Every city is a challenge, every race a page of my story. Besides prestigious races across Europe, I have also competed in many Italian championships, trail races and local events that helped me grow and improve as an athlete.
Running is not only a personal passion: it is also an opportunity for growth and connection with my family. Every race becomes a chance to travel with my daughter Aurora and my wife, discovering new cities and sharing special emotions. Running taught me how to balance family life and athletic life, turning every journey into a unique experience.
